These days, removing moles is no longer synonymous with undergoing surgery or some other procedure that qualifies as surgery. You can even have those moles safely and easily removed in the comfort of your own home, seated in your kitchen or living room. This seems to be the message of gazillion home mole removal creams. But are they really safe and effective, just as they claim to be?
If the advertisements of these home mole removal creams are to be believed, they can remedy all your pigmentation problems quickly for just 40 to 80 bucks. But they fail to mention – whether intentionally or otherwise is not something we can be particularly sure about – that the creams have different effects on different skin types. What works for one does not automatically make them effective or applicable to everyone else. Redness, blistering and other side effects we-re never even aware of could also be caused by the use of these creams. In addition, the scarring of the tissue is more likely scenario to happen.
You can learn about many natural home mole removal methods if you look them up online on the many websites dedicated on the topic. Most of them advise using the things that you already have in your kitchen, such as apple cider vinegar, garlic or bloodroot. They advise scratching the mole with the needle, which has to be sterile by alcohol first, and then placing small cotton ball that was previously soaked in apple cider vinegar or a piece of garlic or bloodroot paste to stay over night. Keep in mind that the abovementioned can cause skin burning and scarring despite the fact that they are edible food items.
Along with the assurance that these home mole removal methods are fast and effective, they are still prone to leaving behind scars. It won’t do you any good to remove a mole and have it replaced by an even harder to remove scar. After all, moles can be easily removed even by non-professionals, but scars aren’t as easily erased.
I am personally in favor of leaving things in the hands of a professional. You don’t want to pull out your tooth by yourself when you can have a dentist do it, right? That-s the same thing for moles: why should you remove it when you can have a surgeon do it for you? If ever this idea occurs in your mind, only think of the consequences that it can have and I am sure the idea will soon disappear.
Yet another method for home mole removal that is a definite no-no is shaving of the mole. It is technically a form of surgery, something that should be done only by a qualified person (which you-re not) in a sterile environment (which your home is not, no matter how you claim it is the cleanest place on the planet). This is a really serous technique, that people are not aware of how dangerous it is and what complication it can have. Thus, this procedure should be done in a part of the house that is free from pointy and sharp objects.
